MAURESTA - Wall facing system
The MAURESTA system was developed to conceal unsightly L-stone walls and ageing surrounds. In the meantime, however, newly constructed walls, e.g. made of Betin L-stones, are also specifically provided with the high-quality metal facing in order to achieve the appearance of a complete metal wall.
MAURESTA
Wall facing for the lamination of L-bricks and walls
The classic method used in gardening and landscaping to support different heights or to create raised beds and earth retaining walls is the installation of concrete L-stones or formwork walls. Both can be installed quickly and inexpensively in the garden or in public places, but has the disadvantage that later the bare concrete wall is visible. Those who want more charm in the open space can combine the practical with the aesthetic:
With the innovative and proven wall facing system MAURESTA made of high-quality metal, the quickly erected walls can be faced to create the appearance of a solid wall made of Corten steel or stainless steel. Existing walls that have become unsightly over the years can also be elegantly concealed and given the appearance of a solid metal wall.
The advantage of the MAURESTA system: the wall facing can be installed by any garden and landscape contractor in an uncomplicated and quick manner and is much more cost-effective in relation to earth retaining walls made of solid metal. MAURESTA is designed so that no screws are visible after assembly.

Examples of wall facing
L-stone walls, curves and special elements
Not only straight L-stone walls or wall panels can be laminated with Corten steel or stainless steel facings. Curves or special elements can also be manufactured according to dimensions. This creates very individual walls or raised beds that blend harmoniously into the surroundings and also give existing gardens or parks a new look.
Technique and details wall facing
The structure of the facing elements is very simple: A stable C-rail is screwed onto the L-bricks. The MAURESTA elements are inserted into the C-rail, fitted together in a form-fitting manner and then screwed from behind.
Assembly in a few steps
The assembly of the wall facing elements according to the MAURESTA system is simple and succeeds quickly. With little hand tools such as drill, screwdriver and screwdriver can be mounted metal panels on the existing walls.
Comparison of MAURESTA wall facing with other systems
- MAURESTA is the inexpensive alternative to earthwork TERRA PALA and earthwork TERRESTA made of solid metal.
- Simple logistics: in the first step, the L-brackets are set as stock goods from the building material dealer. Aufmaß und Maßßanfertigung of the cladding takes place später, ggfs. even after completion of the earthworks.
- Simple installation with prefabricated facing elements that are precisely matched to the existing wall.
- The static calculation of the earthwork wall is not necessary, since depending on the load case, suitable masonry panels or L-angles are used, für which there is usually a static proof.
- Since the facing is installed with backl;ftungsabstand, no Staunässe problem arises with Corten steel.
- No screws visible from the front.
