Variants of the water wall

The water walls AQUA TOP are available as standard in the height 1,800 mm and in the widths 600 mm and 1,000 mm. However, special designs in height and width are possible, so that the water feature can be precisely tailored to your needs. Both standard sizes are available with single or double-sided water outlet and in the different surfaces corten steel, stainless steeland color-coated stainless steel.

Optical cladding for hot dip galvanized water collection tank

If the water collection vessel is to be installed at ground level and not buried, we recommend visually cladding the hot-dip galvanized vessel. Our claddings are available in Corten steel, stainless steel and color-coated stainless steel.

AQUA TOP is suitable for use in gardens, on terraces, and in appropriate indoor areas. Outdoors, the water wall can be incorporated as a water feature, a means of spatial division, or a privacy screen. Indoors, it is an ideal choice for entrance areas, foyers, or other prestigious spaces.
Yes. With a standard height of 1,800 mm, AQUA TOP combines a water feature and a privacy screen in a single element. This is an attractive option for areas such as terraces, seating areas, or property boundaries where a water-bearing design element is preferred over a solid privacy wall. The standard height is also coordinated with Gartenmetall’s VISTA privacy screens.
Options include Corten steel with a weathered rust finish, Rotex-ground stainless steel, and color-coated stainless steel. This allows the water wall to be coordinated with adjacent metal objects, facades, paving, or privacy screens. When using Corten steel, the design phase should take into account that rust particles may detach from the surface, particularly during the first few years. Consequently, the drainage area should be designed to prevent uncontrolled staining of adjacent surfaces.
The standard height is 1,800 mm. Standard widths of 600 mm and 1,000 mm are available. If these dimensions do not suit the planned installation site, custom height and width dimensions are also possible.
In the single-sided version, the water flows back into the collection vessel over one side of the metal surface. In the double-sided version, water flows over both sides of the water wall. Which version is appropriate depends primarily on the sides from which the object is visible and how it is integrated into the outdoor space. For a water wall situated between two seating areas, for instance, the double-sided version may be more interesting from a design perspective.
The pump is located in the water collection reservoir and pumps the water upwards within the wall. The water flow is adjusted at the upper outlet, after which the water flows back into the collection reservoir over the metal surface. The pump, collection reservoir, and cover are part of the system, eliminating the need to plan a separate open fountain installation.
For outdoor installations, the hot-dip galvanized water collection vessel is designed to be installed flush with the ground surface. The grating placed over it can, for example, be covered with suitable stones. If AQUA TOP is to be placed on a terrace or indoors on a finished floor, the collection vessel can be fitted with a matching metal cladding. The necessary base or foundation must be taken into account during the planning stage.

The design is crafted from metal and mounted a short distance in front of the water wall. The pump, water conduits, and collection area should be checked regularly and kept free of deposits or debris. The water pump, in particular, must be protected before periods of frost; additionally, water-carrying pipes and hoses must not be subjected to the stress of freezing residual water.
