ELBA is a high-quality finished and ready-assembled garden kitchen with two or three base units. The cabinet pull-outs are easy to operate thanks to the push-to-open technology. An integrated stainless steel sink and a built-in gas grill make the kitchen a popular meeting place for connoisseurs.

Cabinet Construction and Technology

Base cabinets are always equipped with large-capacity pull-out drawers featuring high-quality “push-to-open” hardware. Where technically possible, an additional drawer, also featuring “push-to-open” technology, is installed at the top. 

Delivery always consists of a complete module in a monoblock design. Consequently, installation must be planned to accommodate a relatively high dead weight (up to over 400 kg).

Restrictions for the ELBA Outdoor Kitchen

  • An outdoor refrigerator can only be incorporated as a freestanding unit, possibly with a decorative enclosure.
  • Built-in gas grills with front controls cannot be integrated.
  • The kitchen is not designed to be mounted on casters due to the excessive total weight and the resulting point load on the casters and floor.

Price Range for the ELBA Outdoor Kitchen

Due to its solid construction and user-friendly operation with high-quality hardware, the ELBA is priced higher than the other model, the IBIZA. However, on-site installation is less time-consuming, as the ELBA is delivered as a complete module.

Safe Transport of Outdoor Kitchens and Countertops

Your outdoor kitchen is delivered in a sturdy wooden frame that ensures safe transport. If a crane is not available to unload the kitchen—which can weigh up to 600 kilograms—a specially designed installation kit is available to facilitate transport to the site and precise positioning.

Before measuring the countertop, the kitchen should be aligned at its final location. For safe transport of the countertop, a practical rental frame can be used, which enables smooth and damage-free installation.

The ELBA outdoor kitchen cabinetry is available in Corten steel with a rose-finished surface, Rotex-polished stainless steel, and color-coated stainless steel. Work surfaces are available in natural stone, stainless steel, glass-ceramic, and sealed Corten steel, among other options. The complete packages offered come equipped with a 30-mm-thick work surface made of black NERO ASSOLUTO granite.
Currently, ELBA complete packages are available in sizes including 2,000 × 730 × 900 mm and 2,900 × 730 × 900 mm, among others. Custom sizes are also available. Corner kitchens can also be designed, allowing the layout to be adapted to the specific terrace or garden layout. For longer kitchens, it is important to note that countertops may need to be divided into several segments for transportation and manufacturing reasons; Gartenmetall specifies a maximum segment length of approximately 3.0 m for this purpose.
ELBA allows for the use of built-in gas grills with controls accessible from above. Gartenmetall offers the BEEFEATER BBQ Signature ProLine with a cooking hood for this purpose. Due to design constraints, ELBA does not support built-in gas grills with front-facing controls. As a charcoal option, a BIG GREEN EGG Large can also be integrated into the outdoor kitchen.
Yes. A round stainless steel sink with a stainless steel faucet is available for ELBA; corresponding complete packages are already offered with the sink pre-installed. The sink, which is sold separately, has a rim diameter of 450 mm and requires a cutout of 435 mm. The connection size is 3/4 inch. Due to the design, the top drawer is omitted beneath the sink and is replaced by a visually matching cover panel.
Not inside the ELBA monoblock itself. An outdoor refrigerator can be incorporated as a side unit or freestanding unit with a matching cabinet module. Anyone who wants to integrate a refrigerator directly into a modular kitchen system should therefore also consider the IBIZA outdoor kitchen.
ELBA base cabinets are generally equipped with large-capacity cabinet pull-outs featuring soft-close, self-closing, and push-to-open mechanisms. Where a grill, sink, or other built-in fixtures leave sufficient space, an additional drawer can be installed above them. Other options include additional interior drawers and pull-out trash cans. For certain models, hinged or swing doors can be used as a special option in place of the large pull-out drawers.
ELBA is delivered pre-assembled in a sturdy wooden shipping crate. Due to its monoblock construction, the kitchen can weigh several hundred kilograms, depending on the model; therefore, access, the transport route, and the final installation location should be taken into account during the planning phase. Gartenmetall recommends an installation kit for removing the kitchen from the transport frame and positioning it. Alternatively, the kitchen can be installed using a crane.
With Corten steel, rust particles may detach from the surface, especially in the first few years. Therefore, installation must be planned so that rainwater containing rust can drain away in a controlled manner, and sensitive adjacent surfaces must be taken into account. For Corten steel countertops, Gartenmetall recommends treating them with ROST-PROTECT® once the rusting process is complete to bind loose rust particles and maintain a cleaner surface.
Care instructions depend on the selected surface. Stainless steel surfaces should be regularly cleaned of deposits and dirt; for routine cleaning, Gartenmetall recommends a mild stainless steel cleaner. Painted surfaces should be cleaned with water, mild soap, and a soft cloth or sponge—avoid abrasive cleaners. ROST-PROTECT® is available for surface treatment of Corten steel. For the BEEFEATER built-in gas grill, a suitable weatherproof cover is required when used outside a sheltered outdoor area to protect the electrical components and thermostats.
