Does a standard product not fit the project in terms of geometry, technical specifications, or design? In that case, the dimensions, material, connections, and installation conditions must be clearly defined before production begins. Gartenmetall brings project-specific metal objects to life based on hand sketches, drawings, and planning documents. The design is carried out in-house using 3D CAD.

Gartenmetall designs its garden features and street furniture in-house using 3D CAD. A detailed construction drawing is created for each individual project. For larger projects, this drawing is reviewed with the customer and approved in writing prior to production.
For many projects, Corten steel, stainless steel, and color-coated stainless steel are available. The choice of material should be determined based on the intended use and the desired surface finish.
Corten steel is suitable for the characteristic “Edelrose” surface finish. Stainless steel offers a clear metallic surface and high corrosion resistance. With color-coated stainless steel, specific RAL or DB color shades can be incorporated into the outdoor space design.
Not every material is equally suitable for every structure. Therefore, the choice of material is part of the technical planning of the project.
Yes. Gartenmetall has already created a wide variety of custom structures using Corten steel, including water features, heat pump enclosures, freestanding letters, canopies, and components for recreational facilities.
In addition to the dimensions, the intended use and installation situation are particularly important for the planning process. A freestanding structure has different structural requirements than an enclosure, a water feature, or a component that is attached to an existing structure.
Custom contours, lettering, and designs can be cut into sheet metal using CNC laser cutting technology. A DXF file is a suitable data format for this purpose.
Other file formats, such as PDF, JPG, TIF, or EPS files, as well as hand-drawn sketches, can also serve as a starting point. Depending on the file format, technical preparation of the contours may be required before laser cutting.
