Grave elements for individual commemoration

Most cemetery ordinances allow corten steel and stainless steel as grave borders or grave markers. This is pleasing because the earthy tones of stylish rusty corten steel, also known as stainless steel, fit well in a cemetery setting.

Certainly, there is no off-the-shelf solution for gravestones. However, our offer already includes a whole range of grave borders, gravestones, memorial plaques, crosses made of metal as well as grave lights made of Corten steel, stainless steel or color-coated stainless steel. We have also designed larger memorial stelae e.g. for central memorial sites like our element CERA.

Depending on the type of grave (normal grave or urn grave) or the size of the grave (single or family grave), standing gravestones or lying plaques are suitable. As a rule, lying gravestones may be placed by the relatives themselves. Standing gravestones must, if necessary. anchored securely in the ground by a specialist company.

Things to know about gravesites

Cemeteries are public spaces where survivors privately “lease” graves for a set period of time. The use of a gravesite is regulated by the respective cemetery regulations. Before erecting a gravestone, therefore, a permit must always be submitted to the cemetery administration with details of the material and appearance of the desired gravestone and the intended inscription in the form of a construction drawing. We will be happy to provide you with these documents upon request.

Stricter rules apply to the erection of standing gravestones or grave crosses than to lying gravestones, because they could fall over and injure cemetery visitors. The stability of the standing gravestones is examined annually by a shaking test.

Inscription Plate MEMORIUM

Metal plate with individual grave inscription for placing on the ground on grave plate, urn grave or as a simple memorial plaque. Optionally with cutout für flower vase.

Inscription plate to screw on

Laser-cut inscription plate e.g. for gravestone, memorial cross, grave cross or urn grave. Delivery includes 4 weld;bolts from behind, for mounting in the tombstone. For public memorial plaques, material thicknesses up to 8 mm are possible. In this case, the smallest web width of the letters should be at least equal to the thickness of the material. Material: 3 mm.

Tip: We also offer a pre-rusted inscription plate without lasered writing. On it can be applied on site, for example, a brass inscription.

Memorial cross to put up

For placing on the ground at the grave, urn grave or memorial sites. Addition with inscription plate possible. Supplied with foot; to set in concrete or with foot;plate to screw to the ground.

Grave lamp TOMBA

TOMBA is our high quality and simple corten steel grave lamp. The weather protection glass can be pulled up if the candle needs to be changed. The glass protects the delicate flame from wind and rain.
