To ensure that nothing goes wrong when firing, we recommend placing a stainless steel coaster underneath. Frequently Asked Questions About Gartenmetall's VfB Stuttgart Licensed Products

The current VfB collection from Gartenmetall includes the classic VfB Stuttgart fire basket, a Cup Winners' Edition of the fire basket, two FANFIRE lanterns, and the CORA decorative pillar featuring the VfB crest in several material finishes. A stainless steel grill grate for the fire basket is also available.
Yes. The metal items featuring the VfB motif are manufactured under a brand license from VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG. As indicated in the respective product descriptions, the license fee is already included in the listed product price.
The material, dimensions, and basic design are the same. Both fire baskets are made of Corten steel S355J2W+N, are 740 mm high and 345 mm wide and deep, and have holes in the base for oxygen supply. The difference lies in the design: The standard version features the VfB logo, while the Cup Winners’ Edition combines the VfB logo with the Cup Winners’ motif. The same stainless steel coaster and matching grill grate are available for both versions.
The VfB Stuttgart fire pit is made of weather-resistant Corten steel, grade S355J2W+N, with material number 1.8965. The visible surfaces are delivered with a pre-rusted finish. The square fire pit is 740 mm high and measures 345 × 345 mm in width and depth.
Yes. A separate square stainless steel grill grate is available for the VfB Stuttgart fire basket. The grate is placed on top of the fire basket and, according to the product information, measures 345 × 345 mm. When using wood, follow the safety instructions for open fires: The fire basket must be placed on a level, fire-resistant surface, kept a safe distance from buildings and flammable materials, and must not be left unattended while in use.
Gartenmetall recommends using a stainless steel coaster on patio slabs and other delicate flooring surfaces. It protects the surface underneath, particularly from ash and any rust deposits from the Corten steel. A matching coaster measuring 390 × 390 mm is available for the VfB fire basket. Regardless, the location where the fire basket is placed must be level and fire-resistant.
The CORA commemorative stele featuring the VfB crest is available in three versions: made of visually pre-rusted Corten steel S355J2W+N, matte rotex-polished stainless steel, and color-coated stainless steel. All three versions are 1,380 mm high, 300 mm wide, and 15 mm deep, and feature the “Coat of Arms and VfB Stuttgart” motif.
The CORA decorative stele is designed to be inserted directly into the ground. Approximately 200 mm of the stele is driven into the ground. In cases of heavier use—for example, in a windy location or where regular mechanical stress is expected—Gartenmetall recommends a more stable anchoring system or a point foundation.
Yes. The basic structure of the color-coated CORA motif stele is made of 1.4301 V2A stainless steel. In the standard version, the visible surfaces are finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Gray, fine-textured matte. According to the product information, custom colors are available for an additional charge. The licensed “Coat of Arms and VfB Stuttgart” motif remains unchanged.
The VfB FANFIRE lantern is available in round and square shapes. The square version is 150 mm high and has a side length of 150 mm. The round lantern has a diameter of approximately 150 mm and a height of 200 mm. Both versions are made of 1 mm-thick steel with material number 1.0037, feature a pre-rusted finish on the visible sides, and bear the VfB logo.
