Steel edging bands and lawn edgings EASY-LINER

Clean borders and clear routing

Metal steel edging bands and lawn edging have been used in a variety of gardening and landscaping applications for more than 100 years. They serve classically as path edging, lawn edging or bed edging, providing clean lines and neat edges in gardens, parks and public spaces. Our Gartenmetall® system EASY-LINER is developed for the requirements of professional gardening and landscaping as well as for road construction and civil engineering and is already adapted ex works to the individual requirements on site.

We offer the strip steel made of Corten steel , stainless steelcolor-coated stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized steel in standard lengths of three meters, in heights up to 350 mm and in thicknesses up to 12 mm. However, special dimensions, reinforced surfaces, curves and various connection options are always manufactured according to the customer’s template.

The metal bands can be hammered directly into the ground. More stable is an anchoring with welded flat anchors, with flat iron anchor for plugging or for highest load with L-profile and flat anchors for hammering in.

The elements can be easily bent by machine and can thus be used, for example, as prefabricated modules for farm gardens. Manual bending at the construction site is only possible to a limited extent and depends on the material thickness.

Possible applications for path delimitation belts

  • Road construction/trail edging/trail boundaries
  • Bed edgings for planting and raised beds up to 350 mm*)
  • Tree borders
  • Lawn edges
  • Terrace edging
  • Pavement edgings
  • Boundary of gravel surfaces
  • Farm gardens
  • Stairs

*) For raised beds with a height of 350 mm or more, we recommend the TERRESTA planting trough system , TERRA PALA soil support walls or our RONDA planting rings.

Tip: Snail protection with corten steel LINERS

Did you know that corten steel is an almost insurmountable obstacle for snails? Rust contains small amounts of copper, but it is sufficient to prevent snails from crawling further. This results in the ideal use of corten steel LINER as a vegetable bed.

EASY-LINER – ECO-LINER

In the EASY-LINER system, in contrast to the ECO-LINER system, all conceivable variants and fastening options of the metal lawn edges are available. The EASY-LINER are custom-made with the corresponding planning effort. This makes the EASY-LINER system more expensive, but more flexible. If price and delivery time are important to you, you should choose the ECO-LINER system. The prefabricated flat material made of normal structural steel, Corten steel or hot-dip galvanized steel can be delivered immediately from stock and adjusted to length on site using a cutting disc or metaläge. Fastening in the ground is done with local point foundations or flat iron anchors for plugging.

Advantages/disadvantages of the EASY-LINER

Advantages:

  • Variant production
  • many dimensions available
  • .
  • No/hardly any adjustment necessary on site
  • .
  • additionally stainless steel or color coated available

Disadvantages:

  • more expensive in price
  • more laborious to install
  • highly special productions n&oum;tig, therefore längere delivery times

Options for path delimitation belts

Our metal path border bänder are not just simple metal bänder, but we have almost perfected them for professional gardening and landscaping: We offer you various connection options so that the bänder stably abut each other, e.g. with fork lug or screw lug.

1. Connections

2. Attachment to the bottom side

AWe have also come up with something for fixing in the ground: Our lawn edging is available, for example, with welded flat anchors or particularly convenient with flat iron anchors with a slot for the metal banding.

3. Top and reinforcement

The top of the metal liner is available with a classic deburred, chamfered or, for special requirements, beveled top edge. This makes the liner appear wider and provides more stability. In addition, the liner can be easily driven over with a lawnmower. Do you value 100 percent straight lines? Then we recommend that you choose EASY-LINER with a reinforcing profile. This ensures precise alignment even over particularly long distances.

Flat iron anchor for fastening the path boundary strips

The flat iron anchors for plugging are made of high quality Corten steel, precision beveled and with preload for the liners to be clamped. The anchors can be fixed in the ground in advance or hammered in together with the liners. This is so easy that for simpler construction projects, precise pre-planning for the installation is not necessary, as everything can be easily adjusted on site.

Farm garden module from prefabricated lawn edges

This is how simple and fast the planning of your farm garden or herb bed can be: Select module, edge length, sheet thickness and radius or diameter determine – ready! Four corner modules and one to three rings of metal lawn edging are needed for a complete construction garden. You will receive ready-welded corner modules, which, if necessary, are reinforced with cross braces for greater stability. Thus, the cottage garden can be quickly built from a few elements.
