Rapid rusting of corten steel with SUPER ROST-method

Corten steel is processed with a metallic bright surface. The first patina of rust forms under natural weather conditions after about 2 to 3 weeks. The process of russeting is completed only after 1.5 to 3 years. Important for the formation of the functioning barrier layer is the alternation between wet and dry weather. Often there is a desire that already at the time of installation of garden objects – regardless of weathering – the desired noble patina is formed. For this purpose, we at Gartenmetall® have developed a special 24-hour process for russeting. Treatment of the bare surface with our SUPER ROST-pad enables the formation of the corrosion-inhibiting barrier layer within 24 hours. Thus, we can deliver to you garden objects and street furniture, which already have a first rusty patina.
