Sheet metal blanks for locksmiths, metalworkers and do-it-yourselfers

Since we buy corten steel in very large quantities, in many cases we can offer the cuts at a very reasonable price. Therefore, even smaller steel distributors and many locksmiths purchase their corten steel needs from us. For this purpose, we offer individual blanks or complete CORTEN sheet metal panels for further processing.

Attention when welding corten steel

When welding the blanks, make sure that you use the correct filler metal. “Normal” welding wire rusts through particularly quickly in combination with the weatherproof structural steel (Corten steel), because the normal welding wire has a lower corrosion resistance than Corten steel. Therefore, be sure to use the special corten steel welding wire. On request, we also offer special corten steel welding electrodes in small quantities for on-site welding to the blanks.

Almost everything from stock...

From stock we have sheets of 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm, all in large format sheets of 3,000 x 1,500 mm². Upon request, we can also supply corten steel sheets with a thickness of 15 mm and 20 mm. From the factory, all sheets are bright-rolled, i.e. visually steel-gray. We can optically pre-rust the sheets for you or you can apply the prove 24h rusting process yourself with our special SUPER ROST pads.

Price for blanks and cuttings

Here we are happy to act as a classic contract manufacturing company for locksmiths, metalworkers and also private builders. For laser cutting we need a dxf file, but we can also create it as a service from a pdf file. If only a hand sketch is available, we can also offer on this basis.
